Overview

The Advanced Arcane DPS Mage is focused heavily on maximizing spell damage.

High Necromancy and Inscription provide offensive support while Arcane adds additional damage options. Wrestling provides protection against interruption while casting.

Aspect Options

Recommended Aspect options include:

  • Blood Armor
  • Eldritch Armor
  • Void Armor
  • Arcane Staff

Arcane equipment is central to the build’s offensive setup.

Recommended Chain Links include:

  • Damage to Diseased
  • Spell Aspect Chance
  • Spell Aspect Modifier

These links reinforce the build’s spell damage.

Codex Use

  • Necromancy Book

    • Provides Necromancy abilities and buffs.

  • Wizard’s Grimoire

    • Provides the primary Magery spell selection.

  • Arcane Codex

    • Provides the Arcane abilities that drive the build’s additional damage.

Equipment

Crafted Staves with Mana Refund and Damage are recommended.

Farming/Gameplay

The build is designed to kite and rope cast while using Necromancy buffs and Arcane abilities to maximize damage.

It sacrifices some defensive utility in favor of a much stronger offensive setup.

Additional Notes

Once the Arcane Codex has been leveled, the Arcane mana options can allow the character to play in plate armor.

Inscription is the defining difference between this build and the more defensive Arcane variants.
